Your Life is not Your Own

“If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies within yourself.” ~ Tecumseh

Life can be difficult; there is no point in sugarcoating that, but one thing I’ve learnt is that gratitude can go a long way. But just saying that is naïve. I’ve heard about gratitude, but I’ve always wondered how to live it. It is easy to say I am grateful for a roof over my head or food on the table, but I feel I need to explore “gratitude” even further. Are there things in my life that I take for granted that I should appreciate more?

Life can be funny; often, familiarity can lead to undervaluing. We seem to depreciate the value of things over time, not just possessions but everything that makes life so special. So, I challenged myself to explore gratitude further, to dig deeper below the surface because that is where the treasure is. I invite you to join me in this journey, and I welcome you to the 10-part series – Your Life is not Your Own.
