Your Life is not Your Own – Part 1 – Perspective

Have you ever looked at something and all of a sudden, it clicks, and there is a shift in your mind? It all makes sense; you’ve gained a new point of view, a new understanding.

This is the power of perspective, and I believe it is something we take for granted. The fact that people can look at the same image and explain it differently is insane to me!  Everyone has different views, but the beauty is it allows people to learn, connect and share ideas.

Often when solving a problem, the combination of different ideas results in a solution that is better than any individual could have originally thought of. We learn so much from others, and collaboration has changed the world around us in many positive ways.

Perspective allows us to relate to people; we can understand where they’re coming from and share their concerns. How much change has been brought from people voicing their opinions?

Perspective is not only important with our relationships but also in our personal lives. The fact that you can look at situations differently is amazing; you can find meaning in both the good and the bad. Just really think about it! You can view hardships as an opportunity to grow. It is truly something to be grateful for. Really realise how lucky we are to have perspective! One of the best ways to grow appreciation of this is by reading quotes and hearing from others, so please find below some words that will hopefully resonate. (P.S please share your favourite quotes in the comments):
